Hey 👋
I’m Mogz, a thirty-something about to shake things up in a big way. In just one week, I’ll be starting a brand-new job in a brand-new city. Yep — I’m officially uprooting my life and diving headfirst into the next chapter (or maybe it’s the sequel?) down in the New Forest!
And just to keep life interesting, in a week and a half I’ll also be tackling my very first ultramarathon — right in the middle of the area I grew up in. The route even takes me past plenty of old haunts (and almost straight by my childhood home!). Nothing like 50km of running to make you feel both nostalgic and slightly unhinged.
So that’s the plan: settle into the New Forest, start the new job, and attempt to run an ultra without tripping over nostalgia (or tree roots). Stick around — it’s bound to be entertaining
